1) Zero variety in the opposition. And apart from the chopper and the boss, everything just stands there.
2) Back-and-forth movement response is very sluggish, especially when you're firing the machine gun and trying to scoot around to shoot the boss or chopper.
3) Edge detection on the sprites is _very_ loose... I swear that there's several pixels of space between me and the bombs or missiles, but they still impact the tank, even as the missile appears to fly over the back end of the tank. You either need to do proper overlap/collision detection between sprites, or reduce the size of your imaginary bounding rectangles.
4) Most everything is a sprite, but the bazooka rounds are... dim blue balls? Couldn't you get a shell sprite? And I think the tank ought to be able to neutralize the bazooka rounds with its machinegun (a small explosion as each shell detonates). Also, *BUG* - say that you sit there and let the bazooka guy rip off five or six rounds, and after three rounds impact, boom goes your tank. Go to click Replay immediately, the background and tank resets, but the remaining bazooka rounds are _still_ flying in, impact the tank, and in two seconds, boom, tank's dead again.
Fun idea, but toss in some variety! Moving soldiers, maybe people peeking from the windows (gotta shoot up to peg 'em in three seconds or they start dropping grenades), make the opposition semi-random, etc. It could be a _really_ fun game, but right now it just kinda sits there.
